PocketAI privacy
PocketAI runs AI models on your own device. This page says what the PocketAI apps for iPhone and Mac do with your data. The hosted LiveShortly service has its own privacy page.

The short version#
- Your chats, documents and models stay on your device. PocketAI has no account and no cloud copy of your conversations.
- We don't run analytics or advertising, we don't track you, and we don't sell data.
- The apps connect to the internet only for things you ask for. They are listed below, and you can see every outbound connection in the app's network activity view.
- App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
What stays on your device#
- Your conversations, projects, attached documents and photos.
- The models you download, and the text and images they generate.
- Your settings, and the licence key on a Mac.
- Voice input is processed on the device by Apple's speech recognition.
When PocketAI uses the network#

You can turn on Offline mode to block every outbound connection.
Crash reports#
PocketAI sends none unless you opt in, and then only technical crash data, never your content.
Children#
PocketAI is not directed at children under 13. The model catalogue is curated, but AI models can produce inaccurate or unsuitable text, so supervise young users.
Your choices#
- Delete a chat, a project or a model at any time in the app. Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device.
- To remove an email address from our licence records, write to the contact address.
